I purchased this app for .99 and I can honestly say that it doesnt get better than this. The chess computer sometimes moves different than the original game, which is great--sometimes I can solve one, redo it, and take a while to figure out based on the other move it made. Chess books as great, but this tops them all and its dirt cheap. Another plus, for me, is the custom skin options. I love the Leipzig pieces on gray background. Its so awesome and I wish my other chess apps had those pieces. The next best app is tchess. I was hesitant, but the computer and analyser are AMAZINGLY helpful. Spread the word for these great chess apps!

I love this app, Im about 30 challenges in, and it stays challenging enough to keep me interested, but not so easy that I get bored with it.

I have no problem with the insane amount of my life Im devoting to this app. Its one of the best learning tools Ive seen since "Bobby Fischer teaches chess"

Lots of fun and helps in getting a keen eye for solving problems and is useful in real games.

I love the challenges but wish it had the ability to explore them a little deeper. I particularly like the historical notes.

Ap deserves 5 stars--but without landscape orientation, can be quite a pain to play on my iPad Pro. Will update to 5 stars as soon as this fix happens. Definitely hurts to give it 3!

Nice from great games from a long history of chess. Beautiful and above all, fun.

Nice collection of puzzles. The issues I have are with the app. 1) It should work in landscape mode. 2) I want to be able to turn off the dots that appear when I select a piece to move. 3) There is a noticeable delay when I make a wrong move and no delay when I make a correct move. Its distracting. I would have a fixed delay after all moves.

There is nothing better than trying to find solutions for chess puzzles from the actual games from the masters. A wonderful find!

Good form of relaxing and sharping tactic skills.

I find myself starring at these puzzles for more time than I really should.

Truly...if you are looking to perfect your end game what better way to do so than to study the Masters. One of my all time favorite apps!

Excellent app for chess puzzles, worth $.99

This app eats a lot of my time.

I love how this app has NEVER crashed on me, unlike ichess. Chess is a huge passion of mine and this an app that actually challenges me and warms me up for competitive play. Creator of App (SUGGESTION): I would just prefer (as an advanced player), to be able to disable the help lines that spread across the board when you click on a chess piece. I cant click on a chess piece without being distracted by these lines and I feel this part of the app was intended for novices, thus it should have the option to be disabled for veteran players!
