Great problems and very few hiccups. Very good app.

This is a great collection of exercises on the tactical side of chess. They are organized staring with mate in two, then three, four, and so on. You can skip around as you like and Im currently at the mate is five section. Theres still one mate in four that stumps me though. I love that the computer will play any variation, so you can learn why "your" idea doesnt work. Puzzle hero, another great collection, doesnt do this. I recommend both. Thanks for this great piece of solid work!

This app is a lot of fun and Im sure youll get many many hours of chess enjoyment from it. However, you are playing against a chess engine and not a script, and the chess Engine does not always respond the same way to the same moves, which in some cases makes solving a puzzle impossible. In other cases, the engine responds randomly but its still possible to find the solution. Im up to mate in six and Ive seen this behavior several times, and it can be very frustrating if you spent a long time on a particular puzzle. Like I said, though, this app is a lot of fun and if you like chess puzzles its well worth your time and money.

Its a nice simple app with interesting chess puzzles. Its disappointing though that a paid app this simple cant be used in landscape mode, otherwise it would be worthy of 5 stars imho.

As a coach and a player I think this is a great app. Nice interface. One of the best mating apps out there. Definitely recommended.

As the name implies, all puzzles are from chess champion games. The problems go from mate in 2 to mate in 17 and greatly vary in difficulty. The interface is also very simple to use. Overall, an excellent app.

Great learning curve for improving your endgame. Its a short puzzle game, youre improving your chess endgame, and its based on history, what a perfect combo.

This is the best puzzle app Ive seen on any platform so far. The fact that you can actually interact with the puzzle as you work on it allows you be more engaged in the solving process.

Easy to use and the puzzles are fun and challenging. Ive improved my playing significantly with this app.

Just started working from problem #1 now @40. Totally enjoy working the problems. Cant imagine working past the 3-4 move level, let alone 17 moves. No crashes or glitches so far.

I tried several chess puzzle aps and this is by far the best. Has snapped my game back into shape after a long layoff from playing. Tactics are the part of chess that can be developed and this is great for that purpose.
